Weizer Loses Some

A player under the gun raised to 1,700, Josh Weizer called, and the player in the big blind defended. The flop was {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, and the action checked to Weizer, who fired 2,300. Only the original raiser called.

The turn was the {7-Clubs}, and the player checked again. Weizer tossed out 5,100, and his opponent called.

The {q-Diamonds} completed the board, and both players checked. The original raiser showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for aces and queens, and Weizer momentarily showed his hand, but all we saw was an ace.

Weizer is still very healthy with about 233,000 chips.
