Lamb Moving In The Right Direction
We recently found 2011 World Series of Poker Player of the Year Ben Lamb sitting on a smaller stack here at the 2013 PCA. When we came upon the table, Lamb made it 700 to go from middle position and received a call from both of the blinds.
The dealer tapped the table and spread out 
. Two checks to Lamb prompted a continuation bet of 1,000. The small blind called while the big blind got out of the way.
Both players checked the 
on fourth to see the 
strike the table on fifth. Lamb's opponent bet 1,200 but Lamb would not be pushed around so easily. He flicked out a raise to 3,500 and his opponent let go.
By raking in this pot Lamb is moving in the right direction. He's currently sitting on about 19,000.
