On a flop of {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} Cody Slaublaugh checked and Gary Benson moved all-in. He got a quick call. Cody showed {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and Gary flipped over {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. The turn was a {9-Clubs} giving Gary trip nines. A blank on the river sealed the win for Gary.

Cody Slaubaugh won $88,160 for second place. Gary Benson once again proved why he's one of the most consistent and best players in all of Australia. Benson won $148,480.

Jim Sachinidis has made the Final Four of this event AND he is still in the Omaha event running on the other side of the room. The Omaha event began at 12:30 and Jim accumulated enough chips to stay alive until now. The Omaha event is down to the final 14 and with this Hold'em event on break, Jim has run back over to play his Omaha seat.

Could it be two final tables in the same day??
