Final Table Chipcounts

Jimmy "Gobooboy" Fricke $5.175M
Gus Hansen $4.845M
Andrew Black $2.1M
Kristy Gazes $1.05M
Julius Colman $785K
Marc Karam $535K
Hans Martin Vogl $455K

It's Over for Today

Jakob Glassl moves all-in with {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} after Jimmy Fricke had limped. Jimmy makes the call and tables {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}. All it takes is a {A-Clubs} on the flop and we have our bubble-boy.

Jakob Glassl finishes 8th.

We will be back tomorrow at 1 PM Melbourne time.

Aggression

Jimmy Fricke shows {Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} after pushing Jakib Glassl off of his 200K reraise. Jimmy moved all-in and Jakob laid it down and Jimmy showed his hand.

Jakob Glassl Doubles Up

With {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} Jakob doubles thru Julius Colman.

Once Again the Rule Debate Comes Up

Can a player ask to see cards before they are in a called hand.
The question is raised whether Andy was suggesting collusion.
The tournament director was asked if that was the only reason to see those cards and he eplied: "The rule is primarily to prevent collusion."

Of course, the next question is: "Primarily?"

This is an Official Complaint

If you want media coverage of a poker tournament you have to show us the action. Gus Hansen just took about 150K from Marc Karam but I cannot report the action because the camera feed showed us the tournament trophy rather than the tabled cards.

Black Chat

"Come on girl get into it," Andy playfully chides Kristy Gazes to get involved in a pot.

Not that anyone but Gus and Jimmy Fricke are doing much gambling.

Jakob Glassl is all-in but gets no callers.

Gus, Gus, and Gus

Pushing on nearly every hand Gus is taking down blinds and antes, which equal 85K a hand.

Gus vs. Jimmy #2

and Gus takes those chips back with a big turn bet on the next hand.

Jimmy vs. Gus

Jimmy Fricke pushes Gus off a blank blank blank flop and picks up a 100K pot.
