Chip leader Tim Vance
Chip leader Tim Vance
With the elimination of Johan Lund, we are down to our final table of eight. Tim Vance, who qualified for the EPT Copenhagen on a 10,000 FPP satellite on Poker Stars, is the runaway chip leader with over 1.4 million. Rasmus Nielsen is second, with about 760,000 while Soren Jensen is the short stack with under 200,000.

Official chip counts and seating assignments will be posted once they become available.

Join us again at 2 p.m. local time (GMT+1) tomorrow for live coverage of the final table from The Casino Copenhagen.

Daniel Ryan Eliminates Johan Lund

Daniel Ryan
Daniel Ryan
Johan Lund thought he was getting the double-up you would expect when someone moves all in and you look down at the American Airlines in the big blind. Daniel Ryan had Lund covered and held the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. The flop gave Daniel some hope when it fell {7-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, meaning any ten would get him out. The turn gave Daniel more outs as it was the {4-Hearts}, adding a flush draw. The river was cruel for Johan, the {3-Hearts}, sending him out in ninth place -- the final table bubble.

Johan gets $69,148 for his ninth-place finish.

Short Stack Survival

Patrik Andersson has now moved in three times without a caller and fellow short-stacked Swede Johan Lund has done the same once.

Patrik Andersson All in

Patrik Andersson is the short stack and adds a vital chunk of blinds and antes to his stack by moving all in and not getting called.
