Poker run to benefit autism planned

LAFAYETTE — A two-day poker run from Lafayette to Galveston is being planned for March 27-28 to benefit the Autism Society of America.

The grand prize is $1,000. Registration will also qualify riders for additional amenities in Galveston, such as reduced rates at motels and area attractions.

The run isn't only open to two-wheelers. Automobile motorists are also invited. Full Moon Cycles is a major sponsor of the event, but event organizers welcome other sponsorships.

Call (337) 983-0058.
