A number of big money guaranteed tournaments have appeared online recently. Many poker rooms have noticed the feeding frenzy by online players which follows the announcement of such events.
Catching this wave of popularity are 888 Poker. During March, Pacific will run satellites and freerolls for an event which promises a $1 Million prize fund. The tournament, named "$1,000,000 Blitz" will be played on March 26th, players can buy-in directly for $440 or in the run up to the event qualify through satellite tournaments and daily freerolls. The prize for first place will be announced nearer to the event start time. One thing is for sure though, with $1,000,000 in the kitty, some lucky player will be a whole lot richer come March 27th.

A $75,000 guaranteed tournament on Sunday at 4pm (888 Poker server time) - You can still qualify for this through daily satellites.
