Player X is a professional poker player who makes his living playing mostly online. The mystery and wild rumors often associated with online play, and people's misconceptions about the lifestyle lead us to decide to do this column on Player X. Make no mistake, Player X is a real player, and these are real results.

Many people in the poker world know Player X, and due to this, and other circumstances, Player X (by his or her choice) will remain anonymous. This person's results are real, however, and we will be able to follow him or her through the reality of being a professional poker player. If I did not know this person, and their reputation, I wouldn't publish this

Took the day off after moving Sunday..

Tuesday

Lousy day today. Got in some really good games and lost some big pots right off the bat. Started making a partial comeback only to have my internet get really unstable.

-$1,536 on just 190 hands of NL.

Wednesday

A slightly better day today. 1039 NL hands, +1,613.35. Only 2-tabled all day today as I just didn't have a lot of focus.

Thursday

1315 hands of NL, $+66.65(!) A session salvaged by a donkey who overbet the pot by about 7 times over into my set.

Friday

Real up and down day...+2,164.55 on 1070 hands. Sounds okay, but I was pumped up close to 5k at one point...

Saturday

Not the best day, as days go. -2,694.55 on 1142 hands of NL, I seem to be living in break even limbo land....hate that.

Sunday

Hit big early at NL, then decided to switch it up, and play some 15-30. 130 hands of NL, 930 hands of limit $+ 2,549.75.
