PokerNews Freeroll Madness This Weekend

Here at PokerNews, we not only try to bring you the entirety of the world of poker for your enjoyment, we also attempt to add to your bankroll as well. This weekend is a prime time to increase your poker playing budget as we offer FOUR exclusive freerolls only for PokerNews readers! There will be over $15,000 in prizes among the four events, ensuring that many PokerNews readers will have a little more bulk to their bankrolls come Monday.

It all starts off on Friday with the $2000 PokerNews/TitanPoker freeroll. This is one of our weekly events that bring together PokerNews readers for a shot at a piece of a $2000 prize pool. By downloading the software through PokerNews, making your deposit and playing a raked hand requirement, you'll be eligible to take part in something that happens every week for PokerNews readers. The tournament kicks off at 10PM (Eastern Time) Friday evening and, as these freerolls are only for players who have loaded the software through PokerNews, promises to be a nice prize for one of our readers.

The action really kicks in on Saturday as PokerNews has not one but two freerolls going on! PokerNews readers will be able to come to the felt on PokerStars to attempt to earn their way into the European Poker Tour. The top eight finishers in the PokerNews/PokerStars EPT Freeroll will earn a seat into the January 22nd EPT SuperSatellite, where one out of every 24 players will earn a $13,500 package to compete at the EPT tournament in Monte Carlo in November. If you finish in the top eight and aren't interested in playing on the EPT, then you can unregister from the EPT freeroll on the 22nd and use your prize to compete in some of the other fantastic tournaments that are offered on PokerStars. The tournament starts at 4PM (Eastern Time) and should be a hotly contested battle.

If, by some chance, you don't make the PokerStars freeroll (or are eliminated early), then you have what amounts to a second chance later on Saturday. PokerNews and Paradise Poker have a $3000 freeroll that will kick off at 6PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, once again ONLY for PokerNews readers who have downloaded the Paradise software through PokerNews. This brings the total payouts for the two PokerNews freeroll on Saturday alone to $8,000!

If you haven't been exhausted by the action so far on the weekend, Sunday presents a final opportunity to increase your online account AND to take on one of the finest professionals in the game today. Double World Series of Poker bracelet winner Minh Nguyen will step to the felt along with PokerNews readers in the $5000 PokerNews and PokerHost $5000 Freeroll Bounty Tournament, where Minh will also carry a bounty on his head of $500 that will be paid out to the person who eliminates Minh from the tournament. The tournament starts at 6PM (Eastern Time) and should be an exciting event, especially to see who knocks Minh from the tournament.

Expect all of these freerolls to be rather exclusive affairs, not the huge fields you normally see in a freeroll. They are only for those readers of PokerNews that have downloaded the software through our site and have met the qualifications for the event (full details are available on the Main Page under the "Freerolls" section). Look forward to a heated weekend of poker action with the PokerNews freerolls and, perhaps by Monday, you'll have "heated up" your poker account as well.

Ivey out. It's so disgusting to me how they just let cada back in the game by just letting him steal over and over.

I feel ridiculously sick about Ivey busting on that beat. Can't imagine how he feels.
