Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge Kicks off Tomorrow

One of the most social characters in the history of poker, 1998 Main Event Champion Scotty Nguyen, is hosting a series of poker tournaments that kick off tomorrow. The Cherokee Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma is where all the action takes place.

Anyone that has spent any amount of time at a poker table with the former world champ knows that a table with Scotty is a fun, upbeat environment. The casino has a series of fun events set up to keep visitors enjoying the poker, and having fun with the host. Scotty will be playing in all the events, and who knows, maybe you will be in a hand with him, and he will say 'You call, and its gonna be all over, baby.'

The tournament series has buy-ins ranging from $100, all the way up to the $5,000 No Limit Hold Em Main event. There are a variety of other events, like a blackjack tournament, and an exclusive party with Scotty for main event entrants on June 17th.

There will be super satellites for the main event every night during the tournament series.

Top pros confirmed to participate this year include current player of the year leader Michael Mizrachi, World Poker Tour host Mike Sexton, Mike 'The Mouth" Matusow, and many other players not named Mike.

The winner of the main event will not only receive their share of the prize pool, but will also get a custom made Championship Bracelet, designed by Scotty Nguyen. One thing Scotty knows is his jewelry, and this bracelet is sure to stand out.
