Griffin, Brown Join Team PokerStars Lineup

PokerStars.net has added two more big-name players to its lineup of pro endorsers with the signing of Gavin Griffin and Chad Brown. These latest additions to Team PokerStars swell the site's endorser lineup to 25 players, including a trifecta of World Series of Poker Main Event winners (Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Joe Hachem), and stars such as Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Vanessa Rousso, Humberto Brenes and Katja Thater.

Griffin recently became the firt player to win the unofficial "Triple Crown" of live poker titles, a WSOP bracelet, EPT title, and most recently, the WPT Borgata Poker Classic, will make his first live appearance as a Stars representative at the upcoming EPT Monte Carlo Grand Championship, where he returns to defend his crown. Griffin parlayed a $600 double-shootout win on Stars into a ticket to last year's EPT event, which eventually became the $2.4 million winner's prize. Griffin will now play as "GavinGriffin" on PokerStars.

Brown, the former actor who turned to poker as a way of supplementing his income until it became his true profession, achieved one of his brightest moments when he captured (under the screen name "stelladora") the $5,200 H.O.R.S.E. event in the 2006 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) series. Brown will now play under the name "ChadBrownPro" on the Stars site.
