The final tables of the two major early-week online poker tourneys shared a common theme, and that theme was named Brian Hawkins. Hawkins final-tabled both the PokerStars Super Tuesday and the Full Tilt Monday $1,000, though his efforts to claim the victories were foiled, as he finished in third and fifth, respectively. Dreamgirl3 captured the top honors at PokerStars, while HU4ROLLZ took down the win on Monday night at Full Tilt.

The PokerStars Super Tuesday attracted a field of 378 this week. Eliminated first was -db- at 2,000/4,000/400. Robert "Craps4Dinner" Saltiel opened to 10,238 under the gun and -db- was the lone caller from the big blind. The flop came and -db- shoved for 40,857 with for top pair, but Saltiel called and tabled AdAs. The turn and river were blanks for -db-, who finished ninth for $7,000. DareYou2Call busted next after losing a race with against oneandahalf's . The board came jack high and DareYou2Call was the eighth-place finisher for $10,000. Tony "DrunkPPlaya" Gargano was eliminated in seventh after Robert Saltiel made it 10,238 to go from the button and Gargano shoved for 96,191 with . At 3,000/6,000/600, oneandahalf's tournament came to an end. Under the gun, oneandahalf made it 18,000 to play and dreamgirl3 raised to 49,950 from the cutoff.
