Online Poker Weekend: 'livelikunger', '45 ACP Fanatic' Claim Sunday Majors 0001

A healthy turnout of more than 8,200 players again made the PokerStars Sunday Million the weekend's largest online poker event. Honors went to "livelikunger" in the Sunday Million after a two-way chop, while over in the Full Tilt $750,000 Guarantee, "45 ACP Fanatic" broke through to a six-figure win. Elsewhere, Shannon Shorr returned to the winner's circle by capturing the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan for nearly $49,000. Here are the highlights from Sunday's action:

PokerStars Sunday Million

The PokerStars Sunday Million attracted 8,268 players to the virtual felt on Sunday, creating a total prize pool of $1,653,600. Notable finishers outside the final table included hookembaby83 in 11th place ($8,268), Dolcetrix in 18th ($4,134) and Michael "inissint" Glasser in 31st ($1,984.32). These were the chip counts to start the final table:

U_TILT_ME - 19,185,352

chicokim - 17,721,353

dxu05 - 11,409,512

Mexxximum1 - 8,056,026

Ryan "g0lfa" D'Angelo - 6,811,907

Sir_winalot9 - 5,570,202

Tophandler - 4,759,696

livelikunger - 3,078,872

An early coin flip double-up by livelikunger set the stage for what would become a memorable final table. Mexxximum1 exited first at the 150,000/300,000/30,000 level. From middle position, Mexxximum1 made it 800,000 to play and chicokim reraised to 2,400,000 on the button. Mexxximum1 then shoved for 8,156,026 total and chicokim called with AQ, which trailed the AK of Mexxximum1. The board ran out Q104A5 and chicokim made two pair, eliminating Mexxximum1 in ninth place for $11,575.20. Tophandler departed next, at 200,000/400,000/40,000. Chicokim opened to 989,898 under the gun and Tophandler raised all in from the button for 4,659,696 with A9. Chicokim called and was in the lead with A10. The board ran out K8366 and Tophandler's tournament was over in eighth place for $19,016.40.

Finishing in seventh place at 250,000/500,000/50,000 was Sir_winalot9. Kappe85 min-raised to 1,000,000 on the button and Sir_winalot9 shoved from the big blind for 3,822,702. Kappe85 called with A5 and was racing against Sir_winalot9's 22. The board ran out QK77K and Sir_winalot9's deuces were counterfeited by the two pair on the board; giving him a payday of $28,938. Ryan "g0lfa" D'Angelo was the next to fall. He raised all in from the cutoff for 7,231,805 with 109 and was called by chicokim in the big blind with AQ. The A310 flop kept chicokim in the lead, but the 9 turn gave the edge to D'Angelo with two pair. However, the river was the A and D'Angelo lost to chicokim's trips, finishing sixth for $41,340.

However, chicokim busted next, at 400,000/800,000/80,000. On the button, chicokim raised to 2,400,000 and U_TILT_ME shoved with the bigger stack out of the small blind. Chicokim called all in with KQ and led U_TILT_ME's Q10. Unfortunately for chicokim, the board ran out 8285J and chicokim was flushed out of tournament in fifth place for $57,876. Those newfound chips for U_TILT_ME wouldn't last. After the next level arrived, livelikunger raised to 4,000,000 on the button and U_TILT_ME shoved for 12,815,590 from the big blind with JJ. After a few moments livelikunger called, but trailed with A3. However, the board came 6A597 and U_TILT_ME was out in fourth place for $74,412. Kappe85 succumbed in third place after moving all in from the small blind for 2,810,320 with 105 and getting called by livelikunger in the big blind with 96. The board came J92KA and Kappe85 was sent to the rail in third place for $91,774.80. Livelikunger began heads-up play with almost a 2:1 chip lead and a deal was struck, guaranteeing each the following and leaving $30,000 to the winner:

livelikunger: $157,528.57

dxu05: $147,490.79

The match ended when dxu05 shoved with 109 and livelikunger called with A3. The board came 28256, with livelikunger's ace kicker good for the win. Dxu05 finished runner-up, taking home for $147,490.79, and livelikunger collected the PokerStars Sunday Million winner's share of $187,528.57.

The seventh-place finish paid spady 007 $17,250. Towards the end of the level frickafricka was bounced as well, when his A4 went against WSOP Legend's JJ.
