Twenty-Five Aussie Millions Packages Up For Grabs at PartyPoker

The 2010 Aussie Millions is set for January in Melbourne at the Crown Casino. The early word around the campfire is that it will be the biggest tournament in the Southern Hemisphere to date as roughly 800 people are expected to turn out for the Main Event. Last year's championship event drew 681 players thanks to the guaranteed first-place prize of $2 million AUD.

Fortunately for players who don't have the $10,500 buy-in, PartyPoker is offering 25 luxury Aussie Millions main-event packages.

There will be two $600 + $40 satellites on Dec. 13, 2009. The first tournament (2:45 ET), aimed at Australian and New Zealand players, will give away five packages worth $12,000. The second tournament, aimed at international players (14:30 ET), will award 20 packages (valued at $15,000).

According to last year's winner and Australia Ambassador for PartyPoker Stewart Scott, this is a chance for all kinds of players to get in on the action. "I’ve been playing at PartyPoker.com for five years. These great packages are an amazing opportunity for other players to play in this huge tournament. Claiming the Aussie Millions title has been the highlight of my career, and I’d love to see another PartyPoker.com player take the title."

Considering the sizable prize pool and the prestigious line-up of players that have graced the felt in Melbourne, including Phil Ivey, Tom "Durrr" Dwan, and Patrik Antonius, there are plenty of reasons to take advantage of this stellar opportunity to sit with the game's legends in Oz while taking your shot at winning millions.
