FTOPS XVII: "yahoo33" Banks a $300k Score, Adams Banks Jersey

Full Tilt Poker's FTOPS XVII is just about at its midway point with 16 events in the books. Monday's action (spilling over into Tuesday morning) provided the biggest payday thus far as "yahoo33" won Event #16 for $301,400. The long final table came to an end when yahoo33's ace-ten bested John "kleath" Leathart's ace-king.

Also winning gold jerseys on Monday were chessazhole1 and Full Tilt Red Pro Brandon Adams. Adams, who is both a high-stakes cash-game player and Harvard doctoral student, bested a field of 865 players in the Omaha hi/lo event. It was not an easy final table by any means ― WSOP Omaha hi/lo bracelet winner Andrew "Browndog19" Brown was also in the mix but ultimately faded in sixth place.
