The World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is one of the most eagerly anticipated online poker festivals of the year. The 2012 edition will kicks off on Sept. 2 with the first of 62 high-stakes poker tournaments taking place over 22 days. The highlight of the 2012 PokerStars.com WCOOP is the $5,200 Main Event, a tournament that guarantees a prize pool of at least $10,000,000 and a first-place prize of no less than $1 million!

VPPs are awarded at a rate of 5.5 per $1 paid in tournament fees and between 5.5 and 10 VPPs per $1 contributed in rake at the cash-game tables, depending on how many players are seated at the table and the stakes being played for.

  • Freeroll #1: $5,200 WCOOP Main Event Ticket to the winner plus $1,000 shared between places second through ninth as per PokerStars' regular payout structure
  • Freeroll #2: $5,200 WCOOP Main Event Ticket to the winner plus $1,500 shared between places second through ninth as per PokerStars' regular payout structure
  • Freeroll #3: $5,200 WCOOP Main Event Ticket to the winner plus $2,000 shared between places second through ninth as per PokerStars' regular payout structure
