Pokerfest is Back at partypoker; Rick "tHeClaImEr1" Trigg Wins the $250K GTD Event #6
Pokerfest at partypoker began Sunday and runs until Nov. 2, featuring more than $2 million in guaranteed prize pools over the course of 76 events.
The popular series started with a great win for British grinder Rick "tHeClaImEr1" Trigg, who managed to take home the highlight of this weekend's schedule at partypoker, the Event #6: $250,000 Guaranteed NL Hold’em Freezeout after almost 10.5 hours of play.
During this time Trigg managed to overcome a field of 1,295 players and win a final table he started as third in chips. At the end of the day, Trigg celebrated his success with a top prize of $35,000.

Other than the opening events on Sunday, Oct. 19, the Pokerfest schedule includes a wide selection of events for every type of player with buy-ins ranging from $1 to $500.
Players can win into some of the bigger events, including the Pokerfest $300,000 no-limit hold'em Main Event for a fraction of the cost with the room's many satellites and mega-satellites. It is also possible to play for free by completing one of the Pokerfest missions taking place now at partypoker.
The Pokerfest series incorporates a bit of everything, with many types of tournaments including freezeouts, turbos, hyper-turbos, ante-ups, and bounties over a few different game types including hold'em, Omaha, and stud.
