The biggest winner in the NJCOP II came in the NJCOP #10: $100,000 GTD NLH. That's where "deerpathdave" bested a 473-player field for a $17,820 payday. New Jersey poker player "metalfungo" took home $12,610 for his runner-up performance in this event.
"HenryIam" won $12,000 when he beat out a 50-player field in the NJCOP #11: $50,000 GTD NLH High Roller. Edwin "GiantGenius" Roman won $8,750 for finishing in second place, while "HodorHodorHodor" won $7,500 for his third-place result.
New Jersey's "bernstreg" climbed his way to the top of a 99-player field in the NJCOP #13: $50,000 GTD NLH 6-Max High Roller for an $11,250 payday. "Mistythedog" took home $7,725 for finishing in second place in this event, and George "glytterpyss" Cicak won $6,300 for finishing in third place.
Over on WSOP.com NJ, it was "Thrash" finishing on top of a 120-player field in the $40,000 GTD [R&A] Spring Poker Series Main Event for $13,831. This player also won $1,600 on Saturday when he finished in second-place in the $10,000 Guarantee on 888poker NJ and WSOP.com NJ.
Second place in the Spring Poker Series Main Event went to "nomercy03" for an $8,397 payday, while "RIP_Neiko" won $5,236 for finishing in third place.
"mglnow" also managed a big win this weekend after shipping the WSOP.com/888poker NJ Sunday $40,000 Guarantee for $10,600. Second place in this tournament went to "primarymix", who won $6,300 for his efforts.
Next weekend is expected to be another big week for online poker players in New Jersey with the NJCOP II wrapping up with many exciting events, including the NJCOP #30: $150,000 GTD NLH Main Event.
