The NJCOP II Main Event attracted 659 players who ponied up the $200 buy-in in hopes of grabbing a share of the $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. New Jersey's "MattLoFan89" won $25,613 after winning the heads-up match against "jmoney", who scooped a prize of $18,450 for his runner-up finish.
"MotherMary" took first place in the NJCOP #31 - $75,000 GTD NLH Slow Highroller, outlasting the 97-player field to win $20,734. "HodorHodorHodor" also managed a nice payday in this tournament after finishing in second place for $14,237.
The big winner on WSOP.com NJ and 888poker NJ was Darren "darrenelias" Elias, who shipped the weekly $40,000 Guarantee for $10,600. Elias is no stranger to the big stage, amassing over $3.5 million in online tournament cashes tracked on PocketFives.com and over $2 million in live tournaments according to The Hendon Mob.
Meanwhile it was "Confluence" winning $3,200 after he outlasted the 48-player field in the Big Sunday on 888poker NJ.
