Changes Coming to Wynn Las Vegas Poker Room with Transition from Bravo to PokerAtlas
Wynn Las Vegas is largely considered the best place to play poker in Las Vegas, and things are slated to get even better as the home of such award-winning series as the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship and the Wynn Millions is making a switch in gaming solutions.
The Wynn Poker Room is making the switch from Bravo Poker Live to PokerAtlas, which will offer players easy cash game sign-up via an app, more benefits, and plenty of other bells and whistles. The Wynn joins other Las Vegas properties Resorts World Las Vegas (home to the PokerStars NAPT), Sahara, and Westgate.
PokerAtlas, which is utilized by most cardrooms in Texas and other venues throughout the country, was originally founded way back in 2004 by World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Jon Friedberg as AllVegasPoker.com. In 2014, All Vegas Poker and PokerAtlas merged.

Q & A w/ Wynn Director of Poker Operations Ryan Beauregard
PokerNews recently caught up with Wynn Director of Poker Operations Ryan Beauregard to talk about the decision to switch to PokerAtlas.
PokerNews: When is Wynn Las Vegas slated to debut PokerAtlas?
Ryan Beauregard: Wynn Las Vegas is officially live with PokerAtlas as of this morning, May 15.
What led to the decision to make the change, and how long has it been in the works?
I have been following the growth of PokerAtlas for years, alongside other industry leaders both in Las Vegas and beyond. Encore Boston Harbor has been using PokerAtlas since opening in 2019, but we decided on behalf of Wynn Las Vegas last summer. A transition like this takes some time to roll out, but we couldn’t be more excited to finalize this offering for our guests.
What things do you anticipate changing? What will PokerAtlas be able to offer your staff and players that they might not currently have?
The PokerAtlas app is a major benefit of this transition. Online waitlist registration for cash games will replace the need to phone in, and all tournament schedules, structures, and other information – including real-time chip counts and redraws – will be easily accessible via the app.
Also, the tournament payout process will be faster and easier for players, an undeniable benefit for large events like our Summer Classic or the annual WPT Championship.
Another exciting player benefit is the ability for poker guests to earn COMPDOLLARS, which can be redeemed for various experiences across Wynn Las Vegas, including dining, accommodations, spa services, and golf. Each guest’s poker balance has been automatically transferred into COMPDOLLARS and is now available. For more information on COMPDOLLARS, please visit wynnlasvegas.com/wynn-rewards.
Can players do anything to prepare for the PokerAtlas debut at Wynn Las Vegas?
Download the PokerAtlas app and create an account. Then, it's easy to add your name to the waitlist or view all current and upcoming tournament information relevant to Wynn.
What does the future look like with PokerAtlas?
The team at PokerAtlas has some exciting developments and features in the pipeline. With our operational knowledge and shared drive to improve the player experience, I believe this partnership will fuel innovation and be a step forward for the poker industry.
