Jake Cody is an English professional poker player from Rochdale, UK. Cody is one of the very few players in the world who obtain the so called poker's “Triple Crown”, three major poker titles, the World Series of Poker bracelet, World Poker Tour, and European Poker Tour honors.
Cody was born in 1988 in Manchester, England. He started grinding online at a relatively young age at the same time improving his skills and game knowledge by reading books, discussing hands in poker forums and analyzing his own game. Cody build his poker muscles by grinding long hours online as well as reading and posting in poker forums, discussing hands with his peers. Consistency, hard work and studying, according to Cody are the key elements in becoming a successful player.
