Biography

Mike Jukich is an American poker player from Virginia with over $1.5 million in tournament earnings. Jukich is best known for winning Event #21: $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold'em at the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP), turning his buy-in into a career-best $966,577.

Jukich almost bowed out in second in the Monster Stack when he got it in with a pair of kings against the full house of Mateusz Moolhuizen on a paired board. With just two outs and only one card to come, Jukich binked a king on the river to make a better full house and keep his dreams of winning a bracelet alive.

Jukich locked up the win shortly after and memorably jumped on top of the feature table out of excitement.

Jukich's previous biggest score came in 2018 when he took down the WSOPC Baltimore $1,675 buy-in Main Event for $165,438 and his first Circuit ring. A few weeks later, he made a deep run in the 2018 WSOP Main Event, ultimately finishing in 51st place for a third-best $156,265.
