Jamie Lunt is the 2017 888Live London Festival High Roller Champion taking home £34,985.
Lunt came out on top after a marathon Day 2 that finished at 6 a.m. when be defeated Jonathan Bowers in a relatively short heads up after a deal was agreed. Bowers took home £36,115 but Lunt has the trophy and the title,
A total of 69 entries contributed to the guarantee smashing £136,626 prizepool.
Many of the biggest names on the U.K poker scene and beyond turned up for the festival’s High Roller including WSOP Main Event Champ Martin Jacobson, Team 888Poker Ambassador Chris Moorman, Niall Farrell, Ludovic Geilich, Tom Hall, Jack Salter and a brief appearance on Day 2 from another 888 Ambassador Dominik Nitsche.
The Day 2 players were being eliminated at a brisk pace but that slowed down a little as the final table approached and the money bubble loomed.
