Adria Diaz Dalmau
Adria Diaz Dalmau

We delayed reporting the 10th place elimination just in case you are watching the stream. Here is how it went down about 30 minutes ago.

Adria Diaz Dalmau jammed from the cutoff for 815,000 with {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Chip leader Joel Isla called from the small blind with {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} and the player in the big blind folded.

Dalmau was eliminated in 10th place for €7,420 after the board ran out {4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

All players at the final table are guaranteed a payout of at least €9,530 with the winner slated to walk away with €140,550.

Marc Gonzalez Eliminated in 11th Place (€7,420)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Marc Gonzalez
Marc Gonzalez

Just after West hit the rail, Marc Gonzalez followed him out the door in 11th place for €7,420.

Gonzalez jammed for less than 10 big blinds with {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} from the button and Luigi Andrea Shehadeh over-jammed for more than a million from the small blind before the player in the big blind folded.

Marc Gonzalez: {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Luigi Andrea Shehadeh: {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Gonzalez had a small lead in the hand but it evaporated after his opponent paired the {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{j-Hearts} flop. The {6-Spades} on the turn and the {2-Clubs} on the river completed the action and ended Gonzalez's Main Event run.

The tournament is now down to 10 players. The final table will be set after one more elimination.

Dominique Jean Terzian

While lately most of the eliminations have been taking place on the side table, one did take place about 45 minutes ago on the feature table.

Dominique Jean Terzian jammed for 310,000 with {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and was called by Adria Diaz Dalmau with {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

Terzian hit the rail in 15th place for €5,350 after his hand was unable to improve on the {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} board.

Leonardo Berti Eliminated in 13th Place (€6,200)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Leonardo Berti
Leonardo Berti

A player opened to 105,000 before Luigi Andrea Shehadeh jammed from late position for about 800,000. Leonardo Berti called for less with about eight big blinds and the opening player folded.

Luigi Andrea Shehadeh: {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Leonardo Berti: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

Berti was ahead but not for long as an ace spiked the {8-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop. The {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {k-Diamonds} on the river were unable to save Berti and he was eliminated in 13th place for €6,200.

The remaining 12 players are all guaranteed a payout of €7,420.

Netanel Minyan jammed for about 12 big blinds from late position and Manuel Navarro Perez tossed in a time bank chip from the big blind before making the call.

Manuel Navarro Perez: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Netanel Minyan: {A-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Minyan was behind and got no help from the {k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} board and was eliminated in 14th place for €6,200.

Benjamin Michel Barkay Eliminated in 16th Place (€5,350)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Benjamin Michel Barkay
Benjamin Michel Barkay

Benjamin Michel Barkay jammed from the hijack for 10 big blinds. Last year's Main Event winner Luigi Andrea Shehadeh over-jammed with {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for about twice as much.

Barkay was behind but he got a dream of a flop with the {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} appearing on the board to give him two pair. However, the {7-Clubs} paired the board on the river and the {k-Spades} gave Shehadeh a better two pair.

The Israeli didn't walk away empty-handed as he headed to the cashier to collect the 16th place prize of €5,350. All remaining players are now guaranteed a payout of at least €6,200.

Alexey Golodyaev

Alexey Golodyaev was eliminated on the feature table about 30 minutes ago in 17th place for €5,350. We are unsure of the hand as there were technical difficulties with the stream while it was taking place.

There are now two tables of eight players each left in the field.

Courtney Gee Eliminated in 18th Place (€5,350)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante
Courtney Gee
Courtney Gee

At almost the exact same time that McMillin was eliminated, Gee hit the door in 19th place for €4,750. Her stack was decimated a few hands earlier when she doubled up a short stack with {a-}{10-} against {a-}{a-}.

Gee jammed her remaining 10 big blinds with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} from the button and was called by Oscar Casado Diaz in the big blind with {A-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

Gee began packing her things when an ace was in the window on the {10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop. The {5-Hearts} on the turn and {8-Clubs} on the river were unable to help Gee get back into the hand and she was eliminated in 18th place for €5,350.

There is no table redraw for two tables. Instead, table 52 was broken up with some players heading to the feature table and others heading over to the loan remaining side table.

All remaining players are now guaranteed a payout of at least €5,350.

Jose Isla Kicks Off the FInal Day of the Main Event in the Chip Lead

Joel Isla
Joel Isla

Welcome to the final day of the 2018 888poker LIVE Barcelona €1,100 Main Event at Casino Barcelona.

The event generated 709 entrants to create a massive €709,000 prize pool or more than 40 percent more than the €500,000 guarantee. Today, the final 27 players will compete until a winner is declared.

All players are guaranteed a healthy payout of at least €4,750 with the winner slated to win €140,550 top prize, a sizeable increase of the €110,000 won last year by Italy's Luigi Andrea Shehadeh. The Italian has a chance to become a back-to-back champ in Barcelona as he is still in the field bringing forth a 10th place chip stack of 953,000 into the final day tomorrow.

Spain's Joel Isla kicks off the action in the chip lead with 2,015,000 in chips. Regardless of where Isla finishes the event, he will at least double his career cashes according to The Hendon Mob.

On Isla's tail are Spain's Adria Diaz Dalmau (second - 1,662,000), French Day 1a chip leader Gianny Dominique Morano (third - 1,466,000), American Mark Max McMillin (fourth - 1,413,000), and Canadian poker streamer Courtney Gee (fifth - 1,385,000).

Level 22 with blinds at 12,000/24,000 with an ante of 3,000. As was the case pm Day 2, blind levels go up slowly with increases taking place every hour of play.

Speeding up the action is a 30-second shot clock. Once the shot clock has expired, a player has to automatically fold their hand unless they used a time bank chip.

A feature table and the final table will be streamed all day long where you can view the action on a 30-minute delay by clicking on the Live Stream tab. We will be covering the final table on the delay as to not give away any spoilers.

Stay tuned at PokerNews as we bring you the conclusion of the 888poker LIVE Barcelona Main Event.
