After the bubble broke, eliminations are happening at a fast and furious pace. We will update shortly on the first players to reach the money.
Daniel Hernandez De Lorenzo was among the early eliminations out in 60th place for €3,540. He open-jammed for 164,000 before Day 1c chip leader Netanel Minyan three-bet shoved for 319,000. The player in the big blind asked for a chip count before he folded.
It was a classic race with Hernandez De Lorenzo holding and Minyan holding . However, Minyan took a huge lead after he hit a set on the flop. Hernandez De Lorenzo collected his payout ticket after the on the turn and the on the river weren't the combination of cards he needed as runners to catch up.

Despite the long wait for the hand for hand, the bubble lasted exactly just one hand.
Andrea De Georgio (pictured, blue shirt) jammed 85,000 from late position and got a call from Tomasz Chmiel from the big blind.
The hand was paused while other tables could finish.
"If I don't win this hand, I hope you do," De Georgio said to his opponent.
None of the other tables featured all-in hands and the hand resumed play with a crowd gathered.

The crowd gave out a small cheer when Chmiel paired the flop. The on the turn and the on the river were unable to save De Georgio and many of the remaining players broke out in a round of applause for cashing for at least a minimum of €3,400 in the Main Event.

After nearly 45 minutes of no eliminations, one finally took place and the tournament is now hand for hand with 73 remaining.
Meanwhile, last year's Main Event Luigi Andrea Shehadeh has chipped up to 500,000. As a player across the room was ousted, he three-bet squeezed from the small blind to 60,000 and got to players to fold.

The tournament is just two spots away from the bubble breaking and a lot of the hands we are witnessing are being taking down either with a single raise before the flop or a three-bet.
The tournament will go into hand for hand mode after one more elimination.
The tournament is now five spots away from the bubble. This didn't stop Roberto Canali from getting his stack in the middle against an active player in Jon Kyte.
Canali opened up for 16,000 before Kyte three-bet to 44,000. The action folded back to Canali who went all in for 186,000. Kyte went into the tank.
"Ace-king again?" asked Kyte?
Kyte got no response and let his time bank wind down.
The player sitting next to Kyte asked him a question and Kyte reponded, "Yeah, I know he did that because it was me."

Last year, Luigi Andrea Shehadeh won the 888poker LIVE Barcelona Main Event for €110,000. He had a huge stack today but he gave about half of it over to Catherine Hanna in a hand just before the break.
The hand began with Shehadeh opening to 13,000 and Hanna calling. Hanna checked the flop and called a bet of 25,000 from her opponent.
Hanna then led out for 32,000 when the paired the board on the turn and got a call from her opponent.
After the completed the board on the river, Hanna checked. Shehadeh bet 80,000 and Hanna jammed for 155,000. Shehadeh used some of his time bank before he called.
Shehadeh held for trips. However, this wasn't good enough to win the pot as Hanna coolered him with a full house holding .
