Welch had run into a massive cooler near the end of the night as the 6♣10♣Q♦ flop left him on the verge of elimination. The turn, though, was the K♦ and Welch made a set to take the lead.
The K♥ came on the river for good measure and Welch made quads to lock up his double. McClean took a photo of the board before handing over the pot.
