High Roller Action Set to Go in 2021 XL Spring Series
The 2021 XL Spring Series is in full swing now with Event #8 about to get underway. XL Spring #8 - $50,000 High Roller gets going at 2 p.m. eastern time, and players have just over 3.5 hours of late registration to get into the game.
Rebuys are also available during the registration period, but players are limited to three rebuys. Action proceeds today with 12 minute levels starting at 40/80/10, and they'll play today until a winner is decided.
With a bit more than an hour to go before cards go in the air, the field already has more than 25 players, but that number is sure to grow as action gets underway. The guarantee for today is set at $50,000, which means they'll need a total of 167 entries to beat that.
So far, the series has seen good response. The opening event blew past the $50,000 guarantee, ending with more than $67,000 in prizes. Christopher "MAKKAPAKKK" Johnson took it down for a score of nearly $10,000.
