Aston Cruising Along

Anthony Aston started off the hand by betting out 600 and finding one caller. The flop came {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Aston continued with a bet of 800. His opponent called, and both saw the turn drop the {K-Spades}. Both players checked to see the {7-Hearts} fall on the river. Aston bet out another 2,000 and was called. He tabled {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} to scoop in the pot and move up to 24,000 in chips.

Huang Falling

Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang opened with a bet of 400, before an opponent raised to 1,500. He called to see the flop of {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} get spread along the table. They both checked and saw the turn come the {7-Clubs}. Huang then bet out the minimal bet, 200, and was met with a raise to 800. He called, to see the {6-Hearts} complete the board. Huang checked-called a bet of 2,000 from his opponent, and mucked his cards, when he saw the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} tabled.

Huang is nursing a very small stack of 4,700 in chips.

Ali G Heading Home

Ali Ghezelbash was grinded down to a tiny stack recently and has now seen his tournament life come to an end. Ghezelbash's elmination began when he open shoved for just under 3,000 from under the gun. Julius Colman flat-called in middle position and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Ghezelbash: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Colman: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Ghezelbash had got out of his chair and was ready to leave before the dealer flipped over the first card. Ghezelbash ended up being correct in his assessment of the situation, with a {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts} board sending him home. With that, Colman has a stack of around 35,000.
