Exactly 213 from a starting field of 445 will be heading back into The Star casino from 12:30 p.m. on Saturday for Day 2 of ANZPT Sydney.
Leading the way is Sayed Jabbour with 157,400 in chips, while fellow Day 1a warriors Octavian Voegele (122,400) and Tty Ly (111,100) round out the top three stacks. Then we have Day 1b chip leader Sam Ruha with 102,200 in chips.
There are a huge amount of notable names still alive including Didier Guerin, Jackson Zheng, 2013 ANZ Player of the Year, 2015 Aussie Millions Main Event third-place finisher Joel Douaglin, fellow final tablist Anthony Legg, Canadian pro Xuan Liu, Tony Hachem, Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang, WSOP APAC bracelet winner Luke Brabin, Australian Poker Hall of Famers Leo Boxell and Gary Benson and reigning Aussie Millions champ Manny Stavropoulos.
The players will be looking to make it towards the money on Day 2. The prize pool hasn't been finalised yet, but the 445-player field will see $912,500 likely shared around the top 54 players. We will post prize pool information as soon as it is made available.
