Walch Falling

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Justin Walch has fallen back down to around 110,000.

Picking up the action from the turn of a {4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} board, Paul Murray led for 40,000 from the under-the-gun position. Walch instantly-called from the hijack and a {j-Clubs} completed the board on the river. This time Murray led for 140,000 and Walsh immediately called.

At showdown, Murray turned over {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Walsh mucked. Great river for Murray!

Zmukic Doubles

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Vesko Zmukic has just managed to double up!

Zmukic three-bet jammed for around 60,000 after Patrick Mahoney opened to 25,000 from the hijack. Mahoney called and Zmukic was at risk holding {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} against Mahoney’s {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

The board was a safe {3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades} for Zmukic and just like that he was back up towards 160,000.

Walch Doubles Through Davies

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Scott Davies opened it up to 25,000 from under the gun and Justin Walch three-bet all in for 162,000 from middle position. Davies called and Walch was at risk.

Walch: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Davies: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop meant that Davies found the cards he needed and the {6-Clubs} turn and the {9-Spades} river were safe to see Walch double up to around 350,000.

Murray Vs. Mahoney

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Patrick Mahoney and Paul Murray have just rumbled in two hands. The first one started with Murray opening it up to 28,000 from middle position. Mahoney called from the button and the two played it down to the river of a {9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board. Murray led for 32,000 on the flop, both players checked the turn and the river would see Murray check-fold to a bet of 65,000.

The next hand would see Murray open to 25,000 from early position and Mahoney call from the cut off. On the {4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, Murray check-called a bet of 28,000 and then check-folded to a bet of 63,000 on the {j-Spades} turn.

Seven Figures for Mahoney

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Vesko Zmukic was in early position when he opened it up to 28,000. Patrick Mahoney called from the big blind and the dealer flipped over a {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Clubs} flop. Mahoney check-called a bet of 28,000 here and then when Mahoney checked on the {5-Clubs} turn, Fazzino instantly checked. The river was a {2-Diamonds} and Mahoney led for 84,000. Zmukic called.

At shodown, Zmukic turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and probably lost the minimum when Mahoney showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

With that Mahoney moves to just over 1 million in chips - the first seven-figure stack.

Mcallister Wins a Nice One

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action with a {4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop out on the felt, Sal Fazzino checked from the big blind position and It was on Brian Mcallister, presumably the preflop aggressor, from middle position. He led for 52,000 here and Fazzino called. The turn was a {7-Spades} and Fazzino once again checked. This time Mcallister bet 125,000 and after some thought Fazzino folded.

Blatt First All-In Shove

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dean Blatt has just become the first player to shove all in preflop.

He three-bet jammed from the button after Vesko Zmukic had opened to 28,000 from the hijack.

Zmukic tanked for quite some time and eventually folded.

Just a few minutes after folding, Zmukic told Blatt he had {a-}{q-}.
