It's All Go for Do

Quinn Do
Quinn Do
Quinn Do opened with a raise to 14,000 from the cutoff and Johnny Chan made the call out of the big blind.

They took a flop of {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and both players checked. The {7-Diamonds} hit the turn, putting a four-card straight on board. Chan led out for 12,000 and Do raised it up to 37,500. Chan made a quick fold and Do took it down.

Play Gets Tighter

The new strategy at the table appears to be to try to limp into the pot. Quinn Do limped in before Johnny Chan completed the small blind and Charles Chua checked his option. On a flop of {2-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {K-Clubs}, Chua was the first to take a stab at the pot with a bet of 10,000. Do and Chan quickly folded.

Johnny Chan Eliminated in 7th Place ($51,282)

From under the gun David Steicke made it 15,000 to go before Johnny Chan moved all in for an additional 54,000. The table folded around and Steicke quickly called.

Chan: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Steicke: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

In a race of pair versus overcards, Chan held the lead until the board ran out {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Hearts} to give Steicke a running Broadway straight to collect the pot and send the two-time World Champion to the exit in seventh place for $51,282 in prize money.

Quinn Do Wins Another Two Pots

Quinn Do keeps firing at pots. He raised to 14,000 from the button and was called by Wei Will Ma. A small flop of {4-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {3-Spades} hit the board, bringing a check from Ma and a bet of 17,000 from Do. Ma decided he didn't want to play for that price and folded.

The next hand, Andrew Scott made it 15,000 to go, so Do simply put in the second raise, to 45,000. Everyone folded.

A Double-Up for The Chuck Truck

Wei Will Ma is starting to get aggressive. He's raised the last two pots to 13,500. The first time he was able to steal the blinds, but the second time, Charles Chua had seen enough and pushed all in for an additional 86,500. Ma snap-called!

Ma: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Chua: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

It was the same cards as the previous all-in confrontation but this time the result went the way of the pair as the board landed {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Chua doubles up to over 200,000!

Steicke Gets No Action

Nam Le limped into the pot from the button. After Quinn Do completed the small blind, David Steicke put in a modest raise to 15,000. Both other players called. Le and Do checked the {5-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} flop to Steicke, who bet 10,000 after 40 seconds.

"You're kidding," said Steicke after both players let it go. "The Machine" opened {A-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} for a flopped wheel.

Wei Will Ma Eliminated in 6th Place ($64,102)

Wei Will Ma - 6th Place
Wei Will Ma - 6th Place
David Steicke raised to 12,500 from the button before Wei Will Ma moved all in from the small blind for 34,500. Charles Chua called in the big blind, as did Steicke.

The board of {5-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{A-Spades} was checked down by both live players.

Steicke held {K-Clubs}{10-Spades} for king high. Ma could better that with {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} but Chua's {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} was good for a pair of aces to collect the pot worth over 100,000 and eliminate Ma in sixth place for $64,102.

Chua Drowns on the River

It was a three-way pot after Charles Chua raised to 13,000 and both blinds, Nam Le and Quinn Do, made the call. Quinn Do made the opening bet on a flop of {4-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds}, betting 19,000. Chua called, but Le folded.

The turn brought a third diamond to the board, the {7-Diamonds}. Do warily checked to Chua, who bet 30,000. It took Do 30 seconds to call. When a fourth diamond, the {10-Diamonds} hit the river, Do bet 35,000. That bet folded Chua. Do obligingly showed {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds} for the flopped top pair and a rivered flush.
