Pre-Dinner Eliminations

There was a flurry of activity as we came to the dinner break. Ivan Tan, Tom Guise, and Gavin Griffin were all eliminated from the tournament.

Tan and Guise went out at the same time at the hands of Simon Wallace. The three players got all the chips in on a flop of {J-Spades}

. Guise showed {K-Spades}

; Tan showed pocket threes for bottom set; Wallace showed pocket tens for middle set. Wallace's set held through the river. He's now on 200,000 in chips, while Guise and Tan are both on the rail.

Griffin may have been reeling from a previous hand in which he lost out to Eric Assadourian's set of jacks. He raised to 5,000 from the cutoff prior to the big blind, with Michael Whibley reraising to 15,000. Griffin shipped it all in from there and was snap-called by Whibley.
