The board was no good for Wang again, coming making a pair of nines for Grigg who is up to 630,000 and eliminating Wang from the APPT Grand Final
The New Venue
The bottom area of the theatre has been cleared out with eight poker tables now filling it up. Up on the stage sits the feature table where former APPT Sydney Grand Final winner and Team PokerStars Pro Grant Levy is in the eight hole.
Above the feature table, there is one large projection screen showing the action from the feature table. The screen is split with the left side showing the players as they act with a feed coming from two cameras moving around the circumference of the table. The right side of the sreen is an overhead shot of the table with views of the community cards and hands tat go to showdown. The stage itself it set on a platform three of four feet above the rest of the tables.
The eight other tables are set in a pit below well over 100 auditorium-style seats adjacent to the sportsbook. On the other side opposite the sportsbook, a restaurant with tables and chairs that overlook all of the action from the tournament is positioned. It's quite an awesome view and Star City has done a great job with setting up the arena.
Plenty of fans are watching the action. Whether you want to enjoy a beer from the restaurant, gamble it up in the sportsbook or just kick back in the auditorium seating with some friends, this is a great place to view a poker tournament.

Tom Grigg is the current chip leader, bagging up just under 600,000 chips to finish out Day 2 last night. Long-time grinders Julius Colman and Leo Boxwell are also still standing and will be looking to add to their poker resumes with another solid performance here.
Play begins at 12:30 p.m. local time. PokerNews.com will be your one-stop shot for all the live updates coming from down in the sports theatre at Star City. We'll see you shortly.
