Brandon Demes has been relatively quiet recently while the Cyclone Chen passed through, but he just reminded the table who the chip leader is with a big power play.
Josh Ang opened to 56,000 before Dane Lomas made it 200,000 from the button. Demes then quickly declared himself all in over the top of both players from the small blind. Ang folded and Lomas shrugged his sholders and also gave it up.
Without any resistance, Demes adds 300,000 chips to his stack to climb to 1.5 million chips.
Josh Ang opened to 56,000 before Tran Linh announced himself all in for around 300,000. Daoxing Chen quickly called as the table folded around.

The board ran out and the rail gave a roar as the local Chen had dismissed another opponent! He's on a giant-killing run at the moment and now sits with over 1.1 million in chips!
We've noticed a disturbing trend here as the day has gotten later. Every hand that Daoxing Chen is in, he tanks for an inordinate amount of time. He was at it again in a hand against Darkhan Botabayev. Botabayev bet 20,000 on a flop and was called by Chen. When the turn fell , Botabayev checked.
Chen took the opportunity to bet 30,000. It was a bet that Botabayev check-raised to 105,000. Like clockwork, Chen started tanking. He has had at least one street of being in the tank for almost every hand he has played in the last two hours. Brandon Demes, clearly frustrated by Chen's antics, asked TD Danny McDonagh if time could be put back on the clock.
McDonagh seems to have recognized the problem. After a reasonable amount of time he put a clock on Chen himself. Chen used up the full seventy seconds and allowed his hand to be declared dead. He flashed a before surrendering his cards to the dealer. Botabayev responded by flashing the .
Our last woman standing, Youngshin Im, has just been eliminated from the Main Event. Im pushed her last chips in preflop before Daoxing Chen made an animated call in position.

The board ran out and the pair of Chen holds up to eliminate Im in 15th place. She collects $16,643 for a fine tournament effort. Meanwhile Chen is now looking sprightly with over 700,000 chips.
Daoxing Chen has been all in and behind several times today, but each time found the necessary cards for survival. He was at it again, all in for 164,000 with and called by Dane Lomas' . Chen hit his ace on a flop of to overtake Lomas. From there he safely navigated the turn and river to double up again. He's up to 340,000.
Darkhan Botabayev was in danger of slipping into the great beyond -- tournament elimination. After Josh Ang opened the button with a standard raise, Botabayev moved in from the big blind for 176,000 more. Ang seemed pained by his decision.
"You want your chips back?" Ang asked. He then threw a call into the pot and turned over a hand he had to know was behind, . Botabayev showed and was dismayed to see a nine flop, . But he was saved by an ace on the turn and another on the river . He doubled up to about 370,000.
Catching the action on a flop of , Mike Kim checked to Mike Collins who fired 50,000. Kim then check-raised to 100,000 and Collins moved all in. Kim instantly called.
Kim:
Collins:
The huge action flop saw Kim's overpair up against the top pair and flush draw of Collins. The turn was the and the river was a brick in the to give Kim a huge double up.
Collins slips to 600,000 with Kim now surging to 950,000 chips.
A stack of 160,000 doesn't take you very far when blinds are 10,000 and 20,000. David Chiu moved that amount into the pot from middle position and was called by big blind Michael Collins.
"Do you have an ace?" Chiu asked. When he tabled his hand it was clear why he was concerned.

Chiu was dominated and never got out from under that domination on a board of . He was eliminated in 16th place and with that elimination is free to go off and try his hand at the High Rollers event, where his stack has been slowly blinded off for the last two hours.
