Tamas Spikes Rivered Set To Remain Alive!

Tamas Lendvai seeing his tournament fate delivered
Tamas Lendvai seeing his tournament fate delivered

Tamas Lendvai moved all in from the button for his last 180,000 and Tom Grigg followed suit by also moving all in from the small blind to force a fold from Danny Silk in the big.

Lendvai: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Grigg: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

With Lendvai in a flip for his tournament life, the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop would ensure that Grigg took the lead to leave Lendvai needing to spike a two-outer to stay alive.

As Lendvai leant over the table at his impending fate, the dealer dropped the {6-Diamonds} on the river, before the crowd erupted as the {9-Diamonds} spiked on the river to see Lendvai catch his two-outer to double through to 385,000 as Grigg slides to 480,000.

"You can take it Tommy!" added Michael Spilkin from the rail as Grigg discussed how it was the second time a two-outer had been hit on him on the river following the one yesterday that gave Danny 'Brotha D' Leaoasavaii a kick-start to his current chip lead.

Brotha D Soaring!

Tom Grigg opened to 45,000 from the cutoff and Danny Silk bumped it to 130,000 from the button.

With the action on Danny 'Brotha D' Leaoasavaii, he double-fist slid three and a bit stacks of orange 5,000-denomination chips into the pot amounting to a raise of 370,000.

Grigg quickly mucked, as did Silk, to see Leaoasavaii's four-bet ensure him the collection of the pot as he moved to 1,680,000 in chips.

"You Aussie boys ey!" stated Leaoasavaii as both Silk and Grigg laughed.

"Cut it out!" added Leaoasavaii as Tamas Lendvai accused him of holding Kings.

"I had the kahunas!" responded Leaoasavaii.

Leaoasavaii Flushed With Chips

Danny 'Brotha D' Leaoasavaii entered the pot in the cutoff with a raise to 50,000 only to have Tamas Lendvai make it 130,000 from the small blind.

Leaoasavaii made the call as both players checked the {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop. The turn landed the {9-Hearts} and once Lendvai checked, Leaoasavaii fired out 100,000.

Lendvai kicked his cards into the muck as Leaoasavaii flashed his cards to the rail - and with our PokerNews reporter standing in direct view - showing the {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a flopped flush.
