Sixes for Mitrovic

Srdjan Mitrovic opened to 25,000 from early position and Noah Vogelman made the call from the cutoff.

The {10-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts} board was checked through to see Mitrovic table his {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} to collect the pot.

"That's the worst possible flop for me!" exclaimed Mitrovic as he stacked his chips to over 675,000.

Check-Shove Works for Toleafoa

Tamas Lendvai entered the pot from late position with a raise to 24,000, and Ropati Toleafoa defended his big blind.

Toleafoa checked the {2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{K-Clubs} flop as Lendvai continued for 28,000. Toleafoa moved all in for an additional 145,000 to prompt an eventual fold from Lendvai as he slipped to 365,000 and Toleafoa climbed to 265,000 in chips.

Srdjan Mitrovic opened to 27,00 from under the gun, only to have Danny Silk three-bet to 77,000 from the small blind.

Mitrovic instantly made the call to see a {2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop fall and Silk check to Mitrovic.

Mitrovic opted to fire out 40,000 and Silk instantly responded with a 335,000-chip all in to force a fold from Mitrovic as he slipped to 535,000 and Silk climbed to 530,000 and change.

Santi Forces Tens to Fold

Tom Grigg opened to 25,000 from early position and Ropati Toleafoa made the call next to act before Tamas Lendvai three-bet to 95,000 from the small blind.

After pausing for a few moments, Santi Soriano Ramos moved all in from the big blind for over 400,000 to force folds from Grigg and Toleafoa.

As a visibly distraught Lendvai sat there shaking his head, he took his sunglasses off before speaking to Soriano Ramos in broken English stating he had the hand that was on his shirt.

That hand - as Lendvai pointed to it - was the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} as Soriano Ramos continued to sit there like a rock.

A few more minutes went by before Lendvai mucked his {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to slip to 260,000 as Soriano Ramos climbed to 560,000 in chips.

As the action folded to Noah Vogelman in the small blind, he made it 30,000 to go with Tom 'tollgate' Grigg making the call from the big.

The flop landed {A-Spades}{3-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and once Vogelman checked, Grigg fired out 50,000 only to have Vogelman respond with a check-raise to 150,000.

Grigg deliberated for a few minutes before making the call as the {7-Spades} rolled off on the turn and Vogelman greeted it with an all in for 331,000 to put Grigg back in the tank once again.

Several more minutes went by before Grigg announced a call to put his fellow PokerStars.net Online Qualifier at risk.

Vogelman: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Grigg: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

With Grigg leading, Vogelman would need to spike a five to win or a seven or three to chop, but as the dealer burned and turned the {9-Diamonds}, Vogelman was forced to exit to the rail in 8th place for a $15,382 payday as Grigg soared to 1,100,000 in chips!

"When you come to Melbourne, you gotta pay the toll mate!" stated Michael Spilkin from the rail as Vogelman went around the table shaking hands with his ex-tablemates.

Mitrovic Chipping Up

Srdjan Mitrovic made it 30,000 from the button and Santi Soriano Ramos smooth-called from the big blind to see a {10-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop fall.

Soriano Ramos check-called a bet of 35,000 before check-calling 65,000 when the {A-Spades} landed on the turn.

The river of the {5-Hearts} saw Mitrovic's 100,000-chip bet go uncalled by Soriano Ramos as he slipped to 430,000 while Grigg climbed to 650,000 in chips.
