Boxell Clips Grigg

Leo Boxell opened from the hijack with a raise to 18,500 and Tom Grigg made the call to see a {4-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop fall.

Both players checked, and when Boxell fired out 25,000 on the {Q-Diamonds} turn card, Grigg kicked his cards to the muck as Boxell climbs to 410,000 in chips.

Mascadri Exits

Eddie Mascadri
Eddie Mascadri

Eddie Mascadri opened the button for 16,000 only to have Tamas Lendvai move all in from the big blind. Mascadri made the call for his last 90,000 to be at risk.

Mascadri: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Lendvai: {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The flop of {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} kept Mascadri in the lead, but when the {K-Hearts} landed on the turn, Lendvai took the lead.

The river landed the {4-Spades} to put Mascadri on the rail in 17th place for a $5,212 payday as the remaining players each earn a pay jump.

Edwards Calls with Ace-High

Kani Edwards entered the pot with a raise under the gun to 20,500 and Tom Grigg defended his big blind before checking dark.

Edwards checked behind the {2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop as both players tapped the table again as the {6-Spades} landed on the turn.

Grigg fired out 25,500 when the river landed the {9-Hearts} as Edwards made the call after a slight delay.

"Ace-high!" announced Grigg tabling his {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}.

Edwards however, would table is {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} to scoop the pot and dent Grigg.

Luo: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} to see Parnell doule through to 120,000 as Luo slips to 55,000 in chips.

Vogelman Doubles

In a seven-way limped pot with the board reading {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}, Noah Vogelman moved all in for roughly 100,000.

Only Mike Tyler gave him action as he made the call to put the Day 1a chip leader at risk.

Vogelman: {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Tyler: {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The turn and river of the {Q-Spades} and {9-Hearts} would see Vogelman scoop the pot and move to 230,000 as Tyler slipped to 65,000 in chips.
