Kim Gap Young entered the pot with a raise to 65,000 with Young-shin Im defending her big blind.
Im checked the 
flop before Young fired out 75,000 only to have Im instantly check-raise to 300,000.
Young kicked his cards to the muck to slip to 850,000 as Im soars to 3,250,000.
Kim Gap Young made it 65,000 from the button only to have Young-shin Im three-bet to 230,000 from the big blind.
Young hesitated, but made the call as a 
flop fell.
Im deliberated for nearly a minute before sliding in a stack of chips amounting to 200,000 to force a near insta-fold from Young as he slipped to 1,150,000 while Im climbed over the three million chip mark.
Recently we were informed that Young-shin Im and Kim Gap Young are more than just opponents.
They are also off-felt partners.
Earlier in the day - unknown to us - was that APPT Tournament Director Danny McDonagh notified the remaining players that because of the relationship, at any point during the final table, that he reserved the right to look at either or both of Im's or Young's cards to protect the integrity of the game.
So far neither have really battled until that final hand from the previous level, but with the stakes higher and only three players remaining, things are definitely going to change!

Young-shin Im opened to 52,000 from the small blind with Kim Gap Young making the call from the big blind.
On a flop of 
, Im checked to see Young fire out 60,000. Im responded with a check-raise to 200,000 which Young promptly called as the

Im pushed out a bet of 200,000 only to have Young min-raise to 400,000. Im followed with a re-raise all in for 1,700,000.
A visibly anguished Young deliberated for over two minutes before eventually opting to fold and slip to 1,400,000 as Im soars to the lead with 2,550,000 in chips.
Both Kim Gap Young and Fabiano Michael limped in preflop from the blinds to see a 
flop fall.
