Kim Turns a Lady

Albert Kim came into the pot with a raise to 15,000 on the button, and small blind Jeppe Drivsholm made the call to go heads up to the flop.

It brought {J-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}, and Drivsholm led out into the raiser with a 20,000-chip bet. Kim didn't waste much time calling, and the {Q-Spades} dropped on fourth street. Drivsholm gave the betting led back to Kim now, and Kim obliged him with a half-pot bet of 35,000. Drivsholm called quickly.

The innocent {2-Spades} was the last card off the deck, and Drivsholm took about a minute to consider before checking. Kim stacked out another 35,000 chips and slid them forward, drawing a slight chuckle from his opponent. Drivsholm eyed up both of the stacks before reluctantly making the call.

Kim half-asked, "Ace-queen," flashing his {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}. It was good; Drivsholm shook his head and flung his cards into the muck, dropping his stack down to 280,000. Kim has climbed to 435,000 as he stacks that nice little pot.
