Window Hurts, Middle Helps

A roar could be heard from the railbirds over on Charles Caris' table when he was all-in preflop holding {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} against the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} of Daniel Laidlaw.

The reason for the roar was because when the dealer was readying the flop, the window card was the {q-Diamonds} and it was looking like it wasn't going to be Caris' day. As the dealer began to try and fan the flop, the cards got stuck and everyone stared at the queen in the window. When the dealer was finally able to spread the cards out properly, the {4-Diamonds} was revealed as the middle card and with the rest of the board bricking out Caris took the big double-up.
