Comparing The Numbers

With the numbers in for the 2011 APPT Queenstown Snowfest we thought we would take a look at how the numbers compare to past year's.
The Snowfest makes for the first time that the APPT has called Queenstown its home, with 127 players taking to the felt over the last three days. The last two APPT events that were held in New Zealand saw alot higher numbers, with the event played in Auckland and featuring over 200 players. While there is a big difference in these numbers, it might be fair to compare the APPT Queenstown to the events that have been played in this city.
Last year saw Queenstown play host to the ANZPT, with 119 players taking to that smaller buy-in event, APPT Queenstown managing to beat that number by 8 and with the higher-buyin.
