Couple Away From Wayne

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Wayne Bentley has just lost a couple of back-to-back pots, with some chips going to Tom Grigg and some heading in the direction of Keith Walker. The first hand started with Bentley opening the cut off to 90,000. Grigg called on the button and a {2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop was spread on the felt. Bentley led for 110,000 here and Grigg raised to 290,000. Bentley folded his {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} face up and Grigg raked in the pot.

The next hand saw the action folded to Walker in the small blind and he raised it up to 60,000. Bentley called out of the big blind and then folded to a bet on the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop.

Bentley Takes One Off Grigg

Wayne Bentley didn't come to this final table to fold his way through. He's playing many pots, and just won another by snapping off Tom Grigg on the river.

Bentley raised to 90,000 from the small blind and Grigg called from the big. The flop came down {K-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Bentley bet 110,000. Grigg called.

On the turn the {4-Diamonds} hit and both players checked.

The river was the {K-Hearts} and Bentley checked again. Grigg bet 250,000 and Bentley called within a second. Bentley turned over {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Grigg flashed a {7-} as he sent his cards into the muck.

Bentley Doubles Through Grigg

Wayne Bentley has just managed to double up through Tom Grigg. It all started with Bentley opening the button to 90,000. Grigg called out of the small blind and a {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop was dealt on the felt. Grigg went with a check here and Bentley flicked out 150,000. Grigg moved all in and Bentley decided to call for around 700,000.

Bentley was in good shape, holding {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, while Grigg would need help holding {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}. The turn ({3-Diamonds}) and the river ({5-Diamonds}) were safe for Bentley and he raked in the double up.

Grigg Chips Away at Bentley

Tom Grigg raised to 60,000 under the gun and Wayne Bentley defended his big blind. The flop came down {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Bentley check-called 65,000.

The turn was the {K-Clubs} putting another flush draw on the board. Bentley checked again, and Grigg bet 135,000. Bentley called again.

The river was the {2-Clubs} and Bentley checked a third time. Grigg bet 335,000 and Bentley snap-called with {K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Grigg showed {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}, and took down another big pot.

Sam Takes One From Keith

Sam Razavi was on the button when he opened the pot to 90,000. Keith Walker opted to come along for the ride in the small blind as the dealer flipped over {k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop. Razavi went with a check-call here when Walker bet 60,000. It was the same thing again on the {10-Clubs} turn, and the {a-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

This time when Razavi checked, Walker would again bet 60,000, but Razavi would check-raise to 400,000. Walker thought long and hard before letting his hand go, sending the pot to Razavi.
