Shuyang Yu Eliminated in 6th Place (HKD389,000)

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Dinesh Alt had opened every pot for the last four hands. After making it 60,000 from under the gun, the option folded to Shuyang Yu, who instantly moved all in for 568,000 in chips. Nan Hong was on the big blind, and asked for a count, before eventually mucking his hand. Alt then sat back in his chair, thought about his decision, and made the big call.

Alt: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Yu: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

A great call from Alt was rewarded, when the board ran out {3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} to see him regain some chips he had lost earlier, whilest Yu was sent home in 6th place, earning himself HKD$389,000.

Tong Alt-ers Stack

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The hand started with Dinesh Alt opening to 60,000 from the cut-off, and finding a call from Ling Tong on the button, as well as Alexandre Chieng on the big blind. The flop came down {8-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{4-Spades} as Chieng checked. Alt threw out a continuation bet of 80,000 which was called instantly by Tong, as Chieng got out o the way. The {2-Clubs} fell on the turn, and both players happily checked, as the {A-Hearts} completed the board. Alt checked over to Tong, who after a minute of figuring out a bet amount, casually slid in 95,000 in chips. Alt didn't waste to much time, mucking his hand.

Another lost pot sees Alt drop down to 1,050,000 as Tong moves up to 1,700,000 in chips.

Alt Just Loses a Few

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Dinesh Alt limped in from the small blind, and Ling Tong checked, as both saw the flop come down {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Alt led out for 25,000 and was called straight away, as the {9-Hearts} fell on the turn. Both casually checked as the {9-Diamonds} completed the board. Alt regained control, sliding out a bet of 75,000 in chips. Tong thought for a minute, before raising it up to 155,000. He sat back and watched at Alt deliberated over his decision, before only opting to make the call.

Tong rolled over his {J-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for a straight, leaving Alt a little disappointed, as he mucked his cards, showing the {9-Spades} in the process.

The hand started with Nan Hong opening to 56,000 from under the gun, and getting a call from Kenneth Leong on the big blind. The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs} and both players checked their option, as the {8-Spades} fell on the turn. A quick bet of 50,000 from Leong was met with an instant call, as the {K-Hearts} completed the board. Leong checked, as Hong quickly threw out a bet of 50,000. Leong thought for just a moment, before making the call but mucking his hand and tapping the table, when Hong showed his {K-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a rivered pair.

Tian Hao Eliminated in 7th Place (HKD303,000)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

In the space of one orbit, a third player has been eliminated from this tournament.

The hand started with Ling Tong opening to 45,000 from late position, before Tian Hao moved all in for 400,000 in chips. The action folded back around to Tong, who snap-called as he tabled his {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}. A shocked Hao could only stare the cards down, as he slowly rolled over his {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The flop fell down {6-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} to fill up Tong, as Hao needed running jacks to win the hand. The board ran out {3-Diamonds} and {5-Clubs} to see him leave the tournament floor in 7th place, as Tong adds more chips to his growing stack.

Jay Tan Eliminated in 8th Place (HKD238,000)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Another quick elimination has occurred on the final table, with the last remaining female, Jay Tan, being sent home.

Nan Hong was the first to act, and opened to 47,000 from under the gun, before Jay Tan moved all in for her last 95,000 in chips. Ling Tong was to her immediate left, and went into the tank for a few minutes, before throwing in a raise to 200,000. The action folded back around to Hong, who didn't seem to impressed with the raise, and agonized for a minute, before mucking his hand.

Tan: {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Tong: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

It was all over on the turn for Tan, as the board ran out {5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} , to see her exit in 8th place, and collecting HKD238,000 for her efforts.

Khac Trung Tran Eliminated in 9th Place (HKD173,180)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The action started with Kenneth Leong opening to 50,000 from middle position, and was called by Nan Hong in the hijack. Trung Tran looked down at his cards, and moved all in for his last 270,000 in chip from the cut-off. It folded back around to Leong, who folded, and after some deliberation, Hong made the call to see both players table their cards.

Tran: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Hong: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The flop was no threat for Tran, as it fell down {3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The {8-Hearts} on the turn made things interesting, as it gave Hong outs to a flush as well. Unfortunately for Tran, the river would come the {2-Hearts}, to give his opponent the flush, as he was the first player to be sent to the rail.
