English Lets One Go

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

The hand started with the player in the hijack position opening to 900. Tim English was on the button and raised it up to 2,200. The action folded back around to the original better who made the call.

The flop came out {3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and after a quick check, English threw out a continuation bet of 2,200. He was called, as the {q-Hearts} fell on the turn. Both players checked as the {5-Diamonds} completed the board.

This time the player in the hijack led out for 4,600, forcing a fold from English shortly after.

Good Call From Willcocks

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Liam O’Rourke and Phillip Willcocks took to the river of a {q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} board. When we arrived at the action, O’Rourke had checked and Willcocks bet 2,100. Back on O’Rourke and he raised it up to 6,000. Willcocks thought for a few moments before making the call.

At showdown, O’Rourke tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, which wasn’t strong enough for the {4-Clubs}{4-Spades} of Willcocks.

Allan Takes Some from Seal

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Dave Allan opened to 1,300 from late position and was called by the player on the small blind as well as Emanuel Seal on the big blind.

The flop came down {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and both blinds checked over to Allan. He threw out a continuation bet of 2,500 which only interested Seal. Both players then checked the {8-Clubs} on the turn, before the {j-Spades} fell on the river. Seal checked once more, before calling a bet of 2,000 from Allan.

Allan then tabled his {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a rivered pair, which was enough to take down the pot.

Guerin Moving on Up

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Picking up the action on a flop of {j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, play checked to Ricky Kroesen who tossed out a bet of 1,300. Didier Guerin made the call in position, before it was back on a short-stacked player who announced himself all in for a total of 11,475. Kroesen thought but let it go to give Guerin a chance in the think-tank. After a few minutes of grimacing, Guerin committed with {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for top pair, but it was well behind his opponent's {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

That didn't matter, as the {10-Clubs} appeared on the turn to give Guerin the lead with two pair, which held through the {4-Spades} river.

Guerin sends one to the rail as he climbs to 58,000 chips.

Pedley Exits

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

The action folded around to Jordan Westmorland in the hijack who opened to 1,200. Michael Pedley was seated to his left, and moved all in for just short of 10,000. The player on the button then moved all in for 50,000 forcing Westmorland to lay down his hand.

Pedley: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Opponent: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts} to see Pedley miss everything, as he was sent to the rail.
