Time for APPT Melbourne to Begin

APPT Melbourne

Throughout the years the Crown Poker Room has played host to the biggest events in the history of poker in Australia. Over the last few years a big part of that history has been the Asia Pacific Poker Tour.

Now, on Season 7 of the tour, we are back to play the APPT Melbourne Main Event for the third time. Two years ago it was Australian Poker Hall of Fame member Leo Boxell who won APPT Melbourne, while affable Brit Sam Razavi lifted the trophy last year. In the aforementioned events the buy-in was $5,000, which has now been reduced to $3,000 - all this will mean is more qualifiers, more players and a very juicy prize pool.

Who will join Boxell and Razavi as the next champion?

There’s only one way to find out and that’s to stay tuned to PokerNews over the next few days as we bring you all the live coverage of the APPT Melbourne Main Event! The first of two Day 1 flights begins at 6.10pm AEST sharp!
