Two of the four PokerStars Team Pro’s expected today have taken their seats early in proceedings.
Vivian Im has had great success throughout Asia with her notable results including taking down the APPT Philippines Main Event in 2010 then narrowly missing out on a Red Dragon title the following year.
The other is Celina Lin. Lin has one many titles including two Red Dragon events back in 2009 and 2012 making her the only two time winner. Last month Lin went agonisingly close to capturing an APPT main event title in Seoul were she finished 4th. She’ll be looking to go a few places better in this event.

It was only a small hand that saw Steve O'Dwyer lead the turn for 225 and his opponent folded. A quick chat with the Irish-American revealed that he may take quite a long break after this event instead of jetting to Las Vegas for the World Series Of Poker straight away.

It is still early on but the field has grown since the screens were updated the last time and now at least 210 players have entered the second starting flight. With the late registration available until the end of level 4, the 494 entries from last year may very well be topped. Among the notables to have sat down recently were Akira Ohyama and Guiseppe Reina.

Celina Lin has been eliminated from the main event early in the first level.
The action started with Gab Yong Kim raising to 250 from the cut off and was called by Lin in the small blind. The flop of saw Lin check-call a continuation bet from Kim before the dropped on the turn.
Lin checked once more and Kim threw out 750. Lin then came over the top for 2,000 only to be faced with another raise to 7,500. She then opted to move all in for just short of starting stack and was snap called.
