Vogelsang Gets Thin Value Out of Zang

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Christoph Vogelsang is back on the up after slipping back from his great start.

He defended his big blind after Shunu Zang raised his button to 5,000. The flop fanned {3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Zang continued for 7,000. Vogelsang check-called to the {6-Spades} turn that was checked through. The German pondered on the {k-Diamonds} river before he led for 13,000. Zang called and mucked upon seeing his opponent's {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

Drinan Doubles

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Word reached media row that Connor Drinan doubled up just before the players had a break.

Apparently, Jiaxiu Liu raised to 5,500 and Drinan called from the small blind along with the big blind. The flop fanned {j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Drinan check-raised Liu's c-bet, then bet 25,000 on the {5-Spades} turn and jammed for around 95,000 on the {7-Spades} river. Liu tanked for ages on the river, called, and mucked upon seeing the American's {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for top set.
