The 9th level is the last one for late registrations or re-entries and there already 159 entries for today. 91 players continue to the tables, and they will play four more levels to determine the number of players that will join in Day 2 those who advanced from Day 1.
Of course this is not the only action of the day, as Day 1c is about to start in around 20 minutes, giving to players another opportunity to progress to Day 2.
A one-day High Roller is running also today, with 11 total entries and currently there are four players left.

Ian Cordts just doubled-up in a battle of blinds, where his all in got paid in the river.
The board was when we arrived at his table, with Cordts betting 6,200 and his opponent calling.
The completed the board on the river and Cordts pushed his remaining stack in the middle. The dealer counted it, and it was 22,100. His opponent went into the tank for around two minutes and finally called.
The Irish player opened for a flush and his opponent showed for a rivered straight that it wasn't enough.

Great numbers so far for the Main Event, as there are already 144 entries in Day 1b. If you add them to the 127 runners from Day 1a, the total number of entrants until now goes up to 271 and the guarantee of ₩500,000,000 is already passed.
Nothing is over yet, though, since there are three more levels of registration for Day 1b, plus a turbo Day 1c to follow.
