The 2019 APPT Manila Main Event champion Florencio Campomanes has had a roller coaster ride throughout the day and pulled out some rabbits out of the hat when he got very short. That was required anymore when he was all-in for 110,000 out of the small blind via check-raise on the K♥K♠10♠ flop.

However, chip leader Nino Pansier in the big blind and Zhigang Chen in the under-the-gun position were not going anywhere as the former also ended up at risk.

On the tail end of a Q♣5♣4♦2♠A♥ board, Yo Kudo bet 170,000 and Christopher Mateo went into the tank before he eventually called.

Kudo tabled the 9♣8♣ for a missed flush draw and Mateo won the pot with the 9♦9♥, which brought a smirk from Mike Takayama.

In a four-bet pot to the A♦9♦4♣ flop, Edwin Dela Cruz check-raised to 400,000 and then called all-in when Riku Sasahara bet-jammed. Sasahara called and both players flipped over ace-king.

The field on Day 2 is starting to dwindle as only 47 players remain spread across six tables. Last woman standing here in Manila was once more Lijun Zhang who bowed out in 49th place, while Czardy Rivera then busted soon after.

It appears that the penultimate tournament day will conclude at either the end of level 23 or 24 but no official announcement has been made yet.
