Jung Keeps Pressure On

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Play is proceeding as you might expect without any high drama in the last few minutes. Not much has gone to the river and there have been no big pots. Sunny Jung is opening the majority of pots and taking them uncontested, Gabriel Le Jossec is doing his share of raise and take and Zuo 'ST' Wang has shoved three times to keep his head above water without being called.

Le Jossec Doubles Through Jung

Sunny Jung opened to 100,000 from the button and Gabriel Le Jossec three-bet to 275,000 from the small blind. Action folded back to Jung and he called to see a flop.

The dealer put out {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Le Jossec continued out for 220,000. Jung called and the {6-Hearts} hit the felt on the turn. Le Jossec kept up his aggression, moving out a bet of 420,000. Jung stayed the course to see the {A-Hearts} pair the board on the river. Le Jossec thought for right around two minutes before announcing a three-barrel all in for 785,000. This bet sent Jung deep into the tank. Minutes ticked away on the clock as Jung riffled chips and pondered his action. Right around the five minute mark, Jung grabbed a stack of chips and slid them out into the middle.

Le Jossec showed {A-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for trip aces with a jack kicker. Jung shook his head and flashed {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the second best hand before his cards were pulled into the muck. Le Jossec scored the double and now has 3.6 million to his name.

Zuo 'ST' Wang - 3rd Place

On the previous hand Sunny Jung had opened and folded to a shove from Zuo 'ST' Wang. Now Gabriel Le Jossec opened the action for 130,000 and once more Wang moved all in, this time from the small blind. Jung asked for a count, saw it was right around 700,000 and made the call. Le Jossec left them to it.

Wang: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Jung: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The final board read {4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Wang, who had survived for so long and so valiantly was at last out in third place.

Jung Grinding Le Jossec Down

Level 29 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

There has been a lot of raise and take from Sunny Jung but a couple of recent pots have shown the power of his stack.

Le Jossec opened for 125,000 and Jung called. They checked the {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop and on the turn card {8-Hearts} Jung bet 175,000 and got a call. The river brought the {10-Hearts} and a further bet of 380,000 from Jung took down the pot.

Soon after Jung opened for 125,000 and called a three-bet to 355,000from Le Jossec. The flop was {2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Jung called a 320,000 bet. The turn card {10-Clubs} was checked and on the river {4-Clubs} Le Jossec check-folded to a bet of 900,000.

Le Jossec on the Comeback

Level 29 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Gabriel Le Jossec made it 125,000 from the button only to have Sunny Jung three-bet to 350,000 from the big blind. Le Jossec called and watched on as the dealer put a {4-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop on the felt. Jung continued for 360,000, Le Jossec called, and the {j-Diamonds} paired the board on fourth street.

There were two checks on fourth, allowing the {8-Spades} to finish the board. Jung checked, Le Jossec bet 510,000, and Jung let it go.

No Big Changes

Level 29 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

No huge pots recently as they both continue to probe trying to find a weakness. Sunny Jung won a pot recently when he check raised the flop but gave most of that back when there was a rare three-bet preflop from him to 400,000 and Gabriel Le Jossec made the call.

The flop was {q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Jung check-folded to a 420,000 bet from Le Jossec.
